Funeral Services for Mrs. L. Robert Crow Held from Chapel of Peet Funeral Home Wednesday Afternoon

Friends of Mrs. Evelyn W. Crow, wife of Lloyd R. (Bob) Crow were grieved when they heard of her death that occurred at two o'clock Monday morning, January 16, at the Spencer hospital. Mrs. Crow had been ill for several months and for the past week her condition had been considered critical.

Funeral services for the deceased were held at two o'clock Wednesday afternoon from the chapel of the Peet Funeral home with Rev. Jacob Nein, pastor of the First Congregational Church of Lusk officiating. During the rites a mixed quartet composed of Mrs. Otha B. Holcomb, Mrs. Sam Thomas, Jr., Al Davenport and Harry Lyon sang "Have Thine Own Way Lord," and "Beyond the Sunset," with Mrs. J. P. Watson accompanying at the organ.

Interment was made in the Lusk cemetery with the remains being borne to their final resting place by Herbert Lasater, Art Pollard, Carl S. Lund, Robert Hardman, Barney McBirney and Dr. Phillip M. Hall.

Evelyn Wilda Swan, a daughter of Elwin Archie and Emma Minnie Swan, was born August 1st, 1911 at Chicago, Ill., and departed this life January 16, 1956 having attained the age of 44 years, four months and 15 days.

She lived for eight years in Chicago, and at that youthful age came to Lusk, Wyoming with her parents in 1919. She received her education in the public schools of Lusk.

On June 6th, 1931 she was united in marriage to Lloyd Robert Crow. Two children were born to this union, Robert Lee and Ronald Dean. The family lived in Lance Creek until 1945, when they moved to Lusk and have since made their home here. During this time, Mrs. Crow had been employed as an operator at the local exchange of the Mountain States Telephone and Telegraph Company.

She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, Lloyd Robert Crow, two sons, Cpl. Robert Lee Crow, serving with the U. S. Marines at Tokyo, Japan, and Ronald Dean Crow of Midland, Tex., her mother Mrs. Emma Minnie Pankow of Lusk, and Mrs. Eloise Renz of Hansen, Idaho, as well as a host of friends and acquaintance.

Mrs. Robert Crow Dies in Lusk Monday Morning

Mrs. I. Robert Crowe, 44, died early Monday morning in the Spencer Hospital in Lusk following a cerebral apoplexy. Funeral services were held this Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. in the Peet Mortuary Chapel. Rev. Jacob Nein, pastor of the Lusk congregational Church officiated. Interment was made in the Lusk Cemetery.

A mixed quartet composed of Mrs. Otha B. Holcomb, Mrs. Samuel M. Thomas, Harry Lyon and E. E. Davenport sang, "Beyond the Sunset" and "Have Thine Own Way Lord." Mrs. J. P. Watson was organist.

Casket bearers were Herbert Lasater, Art Pollard, Carl Lund, Robert Hardman, Barney McBirney and Dr. Philip Hall.

Evelyn Wilda Crow, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elwin A. Swan, was born August 1, 1911 in Chicago, Ill. She with her parents moved to Lusk in 1919 where she was educated.

She was married June 6, 1931 to Loyd Robert Crow. Two children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Crow. The family lived in Lance Creek until she was employed at the Mountain States Telephone and Telegraph Co. as an operator, until her demise.

She is survived by her husband, Loyd Robert, two sons, Robert Lee a Corporal in the Marines stationed in California and Ronald Dean of Midland, Texas; her mother, Mrs. Emma Pankow of Lusk; two sisters, Miss Mabel Pankow of Lusk and Mrs. Eloise Renz of Hansen, Idaho.
