Sarah E. Crouse

Graveside services for Sarah E. Crouse, age 81, were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 13, 1989 in the Lusk cemetery with Rev. Bradley Smith officiating.

Mrs. Crouse died Sunday, December 10, 1989, at the Niobrara County Memorial Hospital in Lusk. She was born Feb. 24, 1908, at Wray, Colo., the daughter of Henry and Mary Smith Renzelman. She married Ora Crouse on May 25, 1925, at Wray. They lived at Wray, St. Francis, Kan., and several other places before moving to Lusk in 1965.

Sarah was a very loving and caring mother, wife, and grandmother. She gave of herself to make everyone happy. She enjoyed attending St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church and this was a very important part of her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Dale, a daughter Doris, and by two grandsons, Steven Crouse, and Seth Crouse.

Survivors include her husband Ora of Lusk; two sons and their wives: Del and Barbara Crouse of Lusk and Donald and Gladys Grouse of Blackpool, England; daughters: Wanine Browning of Goodland, Kan., Marge and Bill Wieck of Denver, Colo., Dorothy and Galen Weeden of St. Francis, Kan., Phyllis and Ed Carson of Bird City, Kan., Carol and Gene Garman of Ulysses; brothers; Arthur and Darlene Renzelman of Lusk, Albert and Sue Renzelman of Wray, Colo., and Raymond and Lucille Renzelman also of Wray; a sister Cecile Briar of Wray, Col.; sister-in-laws Alice Crouse and Violet Crouse both of Wray, Colo.; 25 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Peet Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
