Lucille Carpenter Allsup
Services for former Lusk resident Lucille Carpenter Allsup, 83, were held at the Douglas Park Cemetery, June 11, 2002.
Lucille Allsup, died June 4, 2002 in Brookings, Ore., after a long illness.
She was born Aug. 15, 1918, at Jireh, Wyo., to Clarence and Lucy (Rogers) Carpenter.
On July 3, 1937, she married Darrell Allsup and they resided in Niobrara County until 1945. She then lived in Brookings, Oregon, except for three years in the late 1950s when she lived in Manville and Lusk.
She is survived by her husband Darrell, son Dan Allsup of Eugene, Ore.; son Bobby Allsup of Brookings, Ore.; daughter Dixie Felipe of Green Valley, Ariz.; and grandson Martin Allsup of Portland. Ore.
Mrs. Allsup was preceded in death by her twin brother Robert Carpenter and grandson Randy Allsup.
Memorials may be sent to Calvary Chapel, 518 Fir St., Brookings, OR, 97415.
Converse Funeral Chapel in Douglas was in charge of arrangements.
