Eva Craven Dies Here on Friday
Funeral service was held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at the Peet Chapel for Mrs. Eva Craven, 61, who died Friday at the Niobrara Memorial Hospital.
The Rev. Robert Boutwell conducted the service. Mrs. Dale M. Bardo, organist, accompanied the soloist, Mark Lohr.
Burial was in the Memorial Park Cemetery, St. Petersburg, Fla.
Eva E. Watson was born to Minnie and George Watson September 28, 1913, near Agate, Neb. At an early age she moved with her family to Andrews, Neb., where she grew to womanhood attending school there and graduating from Sioux County High School at Harrison in 1929.
She was married to Paul F. Craven of Bearstown, Ill., in 1933 and two children were born to the couple, a son Paul Terrance and daughter Kathleen Elizabeth.
After her husband died in 1962 she moved from St. Petersburg, Fla., to Crawford, Neb., to care for her mother. For the last five years she has made her home in Lusk and had worked at the Quality Shop until the last few months.
She is survived by a son Paul; a daughter Mrs. Kem Olson, Treasure Island, Fla.; six grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Moritz Wilhermsdorfer of Lake Montezuma, Ariz.
