Randy Eugene Hoy

Randy Eugene Hoy, 72, went home to be with Jesus on February 10, 2024. Randy was born to Donald and Phyllis Hoy in Lusk, Wyoming on March 3, 1951. He graduated from East High School in Cheyenne in 1969 and worked in many forms of construction in Wyoming and Arizona until he retired in 2011.

He was a dedicated and loving dad, husband, papa, and great grandfather. With his first wife, Becky, he raised two children, Cory Hoy and Tracy Craft. With his second wife, Lynn, he gained two children, Will Dendy and Kylee Bell, and enjoyed almost 30 years together shepherding, 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He loved dearly his sisters, Gina Hoy Ryerson and Sandy Hoy Barnes and his nieces and nephews, Jayme Moerdyke, Tana Wood, Marc Barnes, and Levi. Ryerson.

In heaven, he was met by his parents, Don and Phyllis Hoy, his sister, Gina Ryerson, and his infant grandsons, Randy James and Cory Robert Hoy.

Randy was talented in working with his hands, from building colossal wrought iron structures as a welder to threading fishing hooks in retirement. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, road trips, Lynn's lemon meringue pies, and hugs.

He is dearly missed by his loved ones, who celebrate the fact that he is at peace with his creator.

The celebration of Randy's life will be held at Spirit of Joy Lutheran Church, 330 Scenic Drive, Clarkdale, Arizona 86324 on March 9, 2024 at 11:00 am.
