Funeral services for Bernice Darleen Cowell were conducted Monday, Nov. 26, 1990, at 10 a.m. at the Congregational Church in Lusk, Wyo., with Rev. Allen Kallenbach officiating.

Cowell died Friday, Nov. 23, 1990, at the Niobrara County Nursing Home. She was 81. She was born March 16, 1909, the daughter of Epra Otis Kint and Augusta Hanna (Hering) Kint in Royal, Neb.

She married Roger Ralph Cowell Aug. 21, 1925, in Hazelton, Iowa. They lived and ranched south of Lusk in the Royal Valley Community in which she was very active and was a well-liked club member. To this union was born Mrs. Bertilla Jones of Lusk, Mrs. Faye Culver of Cheyenne, and Mrs. Donnabell Brunmeier of Loveland, Colo. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was a member of the Does Lodge in Lusk, worked in the local J. C. Penny store, the grade school cafeteria in Lusk, and also in the cafeteria at the Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colo.

To her children she was a very loved and devoted mother.
