MOTHER OF LOCAL CREAMERY MANAGER SUCCUMBS AFTER PROLONGED ILLNESS

Mrs. Pauline Elzina Kilmer, 60, mother of Roscoe Kilmer, plant superintendent of the Niobrara Co-Operative Creamery, died early Sunday morning after a prolonged heart illness, which became acute ten days before her death.

Mrs. Kilmer has been a resident of Lusk has been a resident of Lusk for the past three years, living in her own residence with her youngest son, Mirian (Myron), who is a Junior in the local high school.

During the past  year of more, Mrs. Kilmer has been in ill health, but her condition did not become serious until May 10, when she was removed to the Manring Convalescent Home.

Relatives who morn her passing are: Mr. and Mrs. Roscoe Kilmer of Lusk; Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Kilmer, who live north of Lusk; Mr. and Mrs. Willis Kilmer and Mr. and Mrs. Idris Kilmer, of Arnold, Neb.; Venus Kilmer of Denver, Colo.; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Atterbery of North Platte, Neb.; and her youngest son, Mirian (Myron).

Her sons, Venus, Clarence, Roscoe and Mirian (Myron) and daughter Mrs. Atterbery, were in Lusk for the past two weeks, while Willis and Idris were on their was to Lusk when Mrs. Kilmer passed away.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at Broken Bow, Neb., the body having been sent there by rail, from Crawford, Neb. On Sunday, the Peet Mortuary of Lusk took the body to Crawford for shipment.

Mrs. Kilmer was born October 9, 1873, in York County, Nebraska. The major portion of her life was spent in Arnold, Neb., where she raised her family of six sons and one daughter. Mrs. Kilmer moved to Lusk to make her home three years ago. She was affiliated with the Church of God while a resident in Lusk.
