JAMES TENNY DIES AT NEBRASKA SANITARIUM

Resident of This Community For Many Years is Claimed Victim of Progressive Muscular Atrophy

The body of James Tenny was buried in the Jireh cemetery last Saturday afternoon, as a victim of Progressive Muscular Atrophy.

Mr. Tenny had been a suffered from this affliction for more than two years, the disease having reached its acute stages last fall. Mr. Tenny was taken to a sanitarium at Lone Pine Nebraska, where he remained under treatment until his death Thursday July 8th.

Mr. Tenny was well known in this community. He was one of the first barbers in Manville. He had been in the West for twelve years. He was well like by all his acquaintances here, and was a successful farmer in the community of Jireh.

He was a homesteader, and helped pioneer the way for the wonderful development of the farming industry he saw during his life in this section.

Mr. Tenny leaves a wife and five children and a host of friends and relatives to mourn his loss.
