Former Resident of Jireh Passes Away on Coast
Mrs. Ella Rose Dustin Dies at Oro Grand, Calif., January 17th.
Had Lived in County Ten Years and Was Good Church Worker; Age 39 Years at Death.
Ella Rose Tenney, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Tenney, was born June 27th, 1887 in Knox county, Nebraska. She departed this life on January 17, 1927 or Oro Grand, Calif., at the age of 39 years, six months and 20 days.
She was married to Chas. F. Dustin at North Platte, Neb., on May 23, 1910. To this union was born one child, Alice Margaret Dustin, who with the husband survive her.
About six years ago, Mrs. Dustin united with the Methodist church at Grass Creek, Wyo. and retained her membership at the time of her passing.
in 1913 Mr. and Mrs Dustin located at Jireh, this state, and made this their home until 1923 when they moved to Utah where they lived about a year before going to Los Angeles, Calif., where she lived until her passing.
The main part of her life both before and after marriage, was spent in teaching school. She lived a very earnest, Christian life, giving her best efforts in the work of church and Sunday school, she and her daughter both teaching Sunday school classes.
The deceased is survivedby two brothers, Dan Tenney of Sterling, Colorado and George Alexander of Lance Creek; three sisters, Mrs. Catherine J. Clark and Mrs. Joe Foy of Flat Top, and Mrs. George C. Main of Guernsey. she was preceded in death by her father who passed away in Knox county, Neb., and her mother and one brother, James, both of whom passed away while making their home near Jireh.
