Jerome Cass of Lost Springs Passes Away
Jerome Cass, 60, for the past five years a resident of this community died at the Del Crane ranch, near Lost Springs. Wyo., Wednesday morning at 10:30 of a heart attack.
During the day preceding his death, the deceased had been complaining of ill health, but his death was not anticipated.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 5, from the Baptist Church of Lusk, with Rev. B.F. Farrar officiating. Interment will be made in the Lusk Cemetery. The Peet Mortuary of Lusk has charge of funeral arrangements.
Jerome Cass was born February 12,1873, at Steamboat Rock, Illinois, where he lived with his family until his family moved to Cherry County, Neb., in 1888.
In 1929 he moved to Lusk, where he lived for some time before moving to Lost Springs.
Surviving are James Cass of Lost Springs, a brother; Mrs. H.E. Sherman of Lusk, and Mrs. Dee Crane of Lost Springs, his sisters.
Pallbearers for the funeral will be Jack Gartrell, F.W. Reed, C.B. Francis, Joe Davis, John Bryant and J. McMurtrey.
