Dean Collamore, Early Resident Here, Dies at Pleasanton
Dean Collamore, early resident of Sioux county and brother of the late Mrs. Tress Powell, died on September 12 at Pleasanton, Nebr., at the age of 66. He had been a carpenter there for 14 years.
Funeral services were held there the following Friday and the body was later flown to Sac City, Iowa for interment.
He was born at Utica, Nebr., on Sept. 15, 1901, the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Collamore. The family moved to Sioux County about 1907 and Dean went to school in Harrison and lived here until he was a young man.
Surviving are two sons, Earl Collamore of Pleasanton and William Delbert Collamore of Omaha; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Eileen Hummel, also of Omaha; 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
