Infant Daughter Passes Suddenly

Little Sandra Sue Gibson, aged two months and 24 days, passed away suddenly last Thursday, April 17 after an illness of but a few hours. Death was attributed to an abnormal condition of the abdominal region. Born January 24th, 1941, the little Miss underwent an operation when she was 15 days old and apparently was making a splendid recovery until her last illness. She became critically ill only last Wednesday and was removed to the hospital for treatment, but in spite of every medical attention and care that loving hands could give, the little life was too feeble and pained to survive.

Sandra Sue was born at the Lusk Hospital, January 24, 1941, the daughter of Kenneth and Vera Gibson, and passed away April 17th at the age of two months and 24 days. A tiny bundle of happiness and cheer to her parents and relatives, she brought the dreams of all childhood to those near and dear to her, even in the short space of time, the Supreme Ruler gave her life in this world, and her passing brings sorrow to the hearts of her parents and relatives and of the many friends of the young father and mother.

Funeral services were held at the Peet Mortuary Chapel on Sunday afternoon, April 20th, at 2:30 o'clock with Rev. Millard H. Marshal in charge. Misses Patricia Taylor and Shirlee Brown and "Safe In The Arms of Jesus,' and "We Cometh," accompanied by Mr. Spikes at the organ. Four little girls acted as flower bearers, they being Ellen Jordan, Nan Boan, Betty Joe and Carmen Gibson. Interment was in the Lusk Cemetery.

Besides the parents the little infant is survived by her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. T.L. Cantwell and Mr. and Mrs. Curt Grimm, all of Lusk. Those from out of town here for the services Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Bert Gibson and daughter of Dubois, Wyoming; Mr. and Mrs. Ed O'Connor of Casper, Wyoming; Mr. and Mrs. Don O'Connor and Mr. and Mrs. George O'Connor, all of Morrill, Nebraska.
