Donald "Donald Dumplings Pudding" Lynn Nelson II
Donny was born July 7, 1986 in Westminster, Colorado to Cindy Robertson Ober and Donald Lynn Nelson I. Donny grew up and attended school in Colorado. In 2001 the family relocated to Lusk, Wyoming during his Freshman year. Donny arrived at Niobrara County High School and with his smaller size, was told he needed to report to the middle school. That’s when his massive attitude made its appearance. He was just where he needed to be.
This is where he met the passion of his life, Kendra Stallman. Donny felt the heat far sooner than Kendra did, but after a four year chase, Donny proudly claimed his trophy. The couple moved to Chadron, Nebraska in 2004. Four children were born to this union. Eli Dennon, Riley James, Gracyn BreaAnn, and Bailey Ann Oberlynn.
Donny was employed at Eagle Chevrolet for 15 years and recently became a self-employed mechanic, a skill that seemed to come natural to him.
Donny loved the Broncos, his family, friends and Budweiser, and if the truth be told, in that same order. Besides his wife and daughters, the “other” woman in his life was named Pearl, his 2007 Harley Softtail.
Donny is survived by his wife, Kendra, two sons, Eli and Riley, two daughters, Graclyn and Bailey, his mother, Cindy, stepfather, Tim Ober, sister, Alicia (Jeff) Van Gundy, brother, Stewart (Jessie Mae) Campbell, maternal grandmother, Tommie Robertson, paternal grandmother Vicki Nelson, all of his Black and White family, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
He is preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Clarence Ray Robertson, Aunt Susan Robertson Whitney, Aunt Nicky Robertson and sister, Megan Campbell.
Sister Megan Campbell and Donny were together the night they died. There is comfort knowing that they will forever ride together.
Services will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, November 10, 2018 at the Chamberlain Chapel, 1700 Hwy. 20, Chadron, Nebraska. A gathering of family and friends to honor Donny’s life will be held at the Favorite Bar, 155 Main Street, Chadron, Nebraska following services.
