Ruth Aliene Krejci

Ruth Aliene (Schrader) Krejci, 82, passed away on Saturday, July 16 at the Cozy Corner in Lusk.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thurs., July 21, 2016, at Niobrara County Fairgrounds Auditorium, with Pastor Steve Kellett of Lance Creek Community Church officiating.

She was born November 6, 1933 in Brocksburg, Nebraska, one of twelve children. Ruth attended school at Brocksburg County School for 8 years.

Ruth married Charley Krejci of Lance Creek, WY on November 15, 1954 in Gordon, Nebraska.

They moved from Wyoming and bought a place in Mills, NE in 1959 which is still in the family. They then moved back to Wyoming in 1969 and moved out to Lance Creek to help Charley's dad on the ranch.

Ruth loved her family and friends. She was always excited when hunting season came around so she could talk everyone's leg off. Anyone who knew Ruth knew that even though she was very little she was mighty, and she was a very hard worker and could make some of the best food around. No one will forget what an amazing person Ruth was, and she finally gets to stroll across heaven with Charley.

She was preceded in death by her husband Charley of 56 years, her parents Bill and Dorothy; her brothers Howard, Stanley, Jim, and LeRoy; and her sister Myrna.

She is survived by her two sons Billy (Connie) and Leroy; her sisters Violet, Mildred, and Bonnie; her brothers, Bob, Joe, Darrell and her grandkids.

Memorials may be made to the donor's choice. Pier Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
