Jewell Dean Lashmett
Jewell Dean Lashmett, 84, passed away in her sleep on November 24th 2015 at the Niobrara County Nursing Home. Jewell was born on May 25th 1931 in Decatur, AR. Her parents are Jasper (Jake) D Dill and Cecil O Dill. Jewell was one of twelve children. Jewell and Carl Walter (Chub) Lashmett got married and had four sons. Jewell was employed for several years at the Niobrara County Hospital as a supervisor in housekeeping. She then retired and spent the rest of her days with her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who she adored.
Visitation will be on November 29th at Pier Funeral Home from 4-6pm. Funeral services will be held Monday November 30th at 10am at Pier Funeral Home in Lusk, WY with pastor Matthew Fox officiating. Jewell will be laid to rest beside her late husband, Carl Walter Lashmett Sr. (Chub), and her son, Carl Douglas Lashmett (Pewee) and other relatives at Dellview Cemetery in Manville, WY.
Jewell leaves behind her remaining siblings, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many others who cherished her presence. Jewell is at peace with her late husband (Chub), her son Carl Douglas (Pewee), her father Jasper Dill, her mother Cecil Dill and her many siblings.
