Evelyn Joeanna Larson

Evelyn Lewis Larson passed away at the Niobrara County Health and Life Center in Lusk, Wyoming on April 23, 2015.

Evelyn was the daughter of Lee and Elsie Lewis. She was born August 27, 1921 in Dawes County, NE. After graduating from the High School in Harrison, NE, in 1939, she moved to Lusk where she was employed as a clerk in the Ben Franklin store and met Noal Larson.

On January 30, 1942, Evelyn married Noal in the Methodist Church at Crawford, NE. God blessed Evelyn and Noal with 69 years and three children Carol, Terry, and Noaleen.

Evelyn became a member of the Node Homemakers and the Congregational Church and was actively involved in 4-H.

In 1993, Noal and Evelyn moved into Lusk to make their home.

Following Noal's death, Evelyn lived with her children and grandchildren. Most recently Evelyn's home was Cozy Corner & NHLC in Lusk.

Evelyn is preceded in her death by her husband, Noal, her parents and brothers, Henry and Eldon.

Survivors include her sister Katherine Brewster from Ten Sleep, WY; and sister-in-law Catherine Noah, from Casper, WY. Children; Carol(Jim) Weaver from Garner NC; Terry(Flora) Larson of Lusk, WY; Noaleen(Gary) Ingalsbe from Rome, GA; and Marylou Larson; nine grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials can be made to Cozy Corner or the Congregational Church in Lusk.
