Shirley York Lazure died Dec. 14 at Bergan Mercy Hospital in Omaha, following a short illness. She was the daughter of Earl and Clara York. She attended Douglas schools graduating with the class of 1968. She went to West Nebraska General School of Nursing for one year. On October 25, 1969, she became the bride of Bazil K. Lazure of Omaha. Survivors include her husband, Bazil K. Lazure; her father and step-mother, Mr. and Mrs. Earl York; her mother, Mrs. Clara York of Buffalo; four brothers, Waldon, Bob and Don of Douglas and Wayne of Buffalo; and one sister, Donna of the family home.
