Nettie Snyder Caparoon
CEDAR CANYON
The sudden changes bring results good and bad; the crops need the moisture while the Flu finds its victims more readily when it's stormy. The latest was Mrs. Alden Caparoon, formerly Miss Nettie Snyder, who passed away Monday morning, early and was laid to rest at Prairie View cemetery Tuesday eve, leaving four small children. Such is life.
Note: This was originally published in the Lost Springs Times. Wife of John Alden Caparoon, Mother of Gennessee (B 1917) and Pauline (B 1918) Foster Snyder (B 1912), Walter Snyder (B 1910). On September 2, 1920, the Lost Springs Times had a note that said "The little Caparoon boys were taken to a home. Their mother died with the flu a year ago." In December of 1920, there was another note about John Alden and his wife having a Christmas party.
