George W. Jugler

BRADENTON, Fla. - Cremation has taken place and services for Lusk native George W. Jugler, 71, will be held today at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Bradenton, Fla., with Gary Harris officiating.

A second service will be held in Casper on Wednesday at 2 p.m., at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses with Don Raines officiating.

He died May 30, 2006, in Bradenton after a short illness of cancer.

He was born Oct. 22, 1934, in Lusk.

He graduated from Lusk High School and married Patricia Lee Jugler in Lusk on Nov. 20, 1962.

He was an engineer with the State of Wyoming Highway Department and retired after 41 years.

He was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in July 1982 and was active until his death.

He enjoyed golf and playing golf with family and friends. Growing up in Wyoming, he enjoyed many years of camping, fishing and hunting. He was able to enjoy retirement with his wife in Florida, where he enjoyed the warmer climate and time at the beach.

Survivors include his wife of 43 years of Bradenton; a son, Rodney Jugler of Casper; a daughter, Deana Rohrer of Casper; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild; both brothers, Gene of Rock Springs and Jim of Grand Junction, Colo., and a sister, Wanda Hundley of Casper.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest W. and Katherine Jugler.
