Jerry Lee Lowry
Jerry Lee Lowry, 72 passed away on August 4, 2013 at Davis Hospice Center in Cheyenne following a brief illness. He was born to Harold and Marjorie Lowry on January 30, 1941 in Wheatland, Wyoming. Jerry spent his childhood in Guernsey and Lance Creek, Wyoming and graduated from NCHS in Lusk in 1959. Jerry attended the University of Wyoming and served in the United States Army. Following his discharge he continued his education in computer science and lived and worked in California. Jerry married Sandra Scott and they were the parents of two sons. Jerry returned to Wyoming in 1986. He met and married Edith "Edie" Fietz Brewer in 1987. For many years Jerry worked in Colorado Springs and lived in Cheyenne. Throughout Jerry's life he liked to camp and loved sports of all kinds; he also enjoyed working with his hands and was very artistic. Jerry is survived by his wife, Edie, sons Christopher "Chris" (Kathy) and Craig, and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.
