Beverly Ann Darrow
Beverly Ann Darrow was born in Cheyenne, Wyo., on June 17, 1935 to William 'Scotty' and Huldah Jack. She was educated in the Cheyenne schools, graduated from Colorado Women's College and received a B.S. in Physical Therapy from Washington University. Later in life she graduated from the University of Colorado Denver with a Masters Degree in Architecture.
Bev married Bob Darrow in 1958 and settled on his family's eastern Wyoming cattle ranch. In 1970 they moved to Lakewood to explore new opportunities. She proudly raised three daughters: Cathy (Tracy) Weigum, Blair Max, Chloe; Deedee Goebel, Cody, Madelyn; Wendy (Craig) Cook, Jaden, Jack.
Bev passed away Jan. 15, 2013. Her ashes will be interred on the ranch she loved so much and near her ancestral home in Edinburgh, Scotland. A memorial reception will be held 1-3 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 26 at the Club at Rolling Hills.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to 'Historical Jay Em on The Rawhide' c/o Lanette Sager, 208 Troy Ct., Evanston, WY, 82930 or to a charity of your choice. Jay Em is a 501(C)3 dedicated to preserving and restoring a frontier village in eastern Wyoming.
