Harriet's early years were spent in Bloomington, Illinois and she graduated from the High School of that city. She then went to study at the Boston Conservatory of Music. While in the east she met Shirley S. Call and they were married September 6, 1905. They came soon after to Douglas and this city has since been their home.
She is survived by her husband and three sons, Shirley E., Norman Elliott and Justin Blake; two daughters, Eleanor Olive and Harriet Louise; her father, Fred Eastman; three sisters, Mrs. Mary H. Fowler of Newcastle, Mrs. Pauline Carmin of Douglas and Mrs. Iva Ellingsworth of Williamina, Ore.; two brothers, William R. Eastman of Douglas and Fred Eastman, Jr. of Peoria, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her son, Bradford, who was killed in an automobile accident in October.
