Mrs. John Snethen Dies in California

Word of the death of Mrs. John Snethen, on Sunday, Nov. 13, was received in Lusk the first of the week in a telegram to Lee A. Wood, a close friend of the family. Mr. and Mrs. Snethen and family were residents of Lusk for many years, where they were engaged in the bakery business, moving to California about ten years ago.

Besides her husband, Mrs. Snethen is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Elmer W. Tooker, Culver City, Calif.; Mrs. M. R. Smith, Kalispell, Mont.; Mrs. C. V. Campbell, Hobbs, New Mexico, and Mrs. Mrs. Harry Miller, Coffee Canyon, Calif.

Last August Mr. and Mrs Snethen celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary, at which time all of their children were present, besides several grandchildren.

A daughter, Grace, died at Lusk many years ago and is buried in the Lusk cemetery.

Note: The findagrave.com website lists her death date as November 11, 1945, which was a Sunday.
