Funeral services for Margaret Mae Lamb, 95, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012, at Pier Funeral Home in Lusk with Pastor Tom Strock of the First Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be at Dellview Cemetery in Manville.
Mrs. Lamb passed away in Torrington Mon., Sept. 24, 2012.

Margaret Mae (Rathbun) Lamb
Funeral services for Margaret Mae (Rathbun) Lamb, 95, were held on Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Pier Funeral Home in Lusk, Wyo., with Pastor Tom Strock officiating. Interment was held at the Dellview Cemetery in Manville.
Mrs. Lamb died Monday, Sept. 24, 2012, at Torrington, Wyoming. She was born Oct. 30, 1916, in Fairbury, Neb., to Arthur H. and Edith (Showalter) Rathbun. She spent her early childhood in Nebraska until 1929, when the family moved to Manville.
On Aug. 30, 1933, she married Norman V. (Shorty) Lamb in Hot Springs, S.D. They ranched south of Manville until 1940, when they moved to Shawnee, Wyoming where they operated a strip coal mine. In 1942 they purchased the Chris Larsen place east of Manville. They started ranching again and building dikes, which eventually grew into the road construction business.
In 1970 they moved Lamb Construction Company to Torrington, Wyoming, where she was the Office Manager and Bookkeeper for the company. In 1987 they retired and spent winters in Mesa, Ariz., and summers at their Smith Ranch south of Manville. At the time of their retirement they were Life Honorary Members of the Wyoming Contractors Association. After her husband passed away in 1996 she continued living in Torrington. In October of 2011 she moved into Evergreen Court.
She is survived by her three sons, Jack (Ellen) and Gary (Lala) of Manville, Wyo., Larry (Patty) of Douglas, Wyo.; two daughters, Bobetta (George) Etchemendy of Lost Springs, Wyo., Bonnie (Wayne) King of Lead, S.D.; and a daughter-in-law, Judy Lamb of Torrington, Wyo.; 18 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren; and one brother, Floyd Rathbun of Basin, Wyoming.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her son, Jerry; two grandchildren, Donya Lamb and Jerry D. Lamb; a sister Leila Gladson, and her parents.
Serving as pallbearers were her grandsons, Lee Lamb, Lyle Lamb, Gary Duane Lamb, Bobby Lamb, George P. Etchemendy and Greg King.
