Memorial services for Eileen Brus, 77, who passed away early Friday morning at her home in Buffalo were held Tuesday Sept. 7th, at 10 a.m. at Adams Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend John Orwig officiating. Services were also held on Tuesday the 7th of Sept. at 2 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church in Casper with Reverend Frank Kinney officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Casper. Donation may be made in her memory to Johnson County Home Health in care of the Adams Funeral Home in Buffalo.

Helen Eileen Brus was born on Aug. 5, 1927 in Lusk, Wyoming to John and Edna Hoffman. She grew up and received her education in Lusk and graduated from Lusk High School in 1946.

After high school she took a job with the Niobrara County Assessor's Office for two years. She married on Feb. 3, 1950 in Lance Creek, Wyoming to H. L. "Bud" Brus. The joy of her life was her husband and family. She especially enjoyed traveling and living abroad, visiting the foreign countries, learning and experiencing their traditions and cultures. She took great pleasure in her many friends and was always willing to help others.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years; one son Rick Brus and his wife Kathy of Buffalo; one daughter Janis Hall and her husband Clancy of Casper; seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Don and Lester Hoffman.
