Frank B. Barnes Passes Away Sunday
Frank B. Barnes, 83, a familiar figure on Lusk streets for a number of years, succumbed to a lingering illness at the home of his son, R. J. "Slim" Barnes in Lusk on last Sunday.
Death came shortly after noon to relieve him of is suffering and he has many friends who will greatly miss him.
Mr. Barnes was born at Burmingham, Iowa on June 2nd, 1855 and came to Wyoming in 1909, locating on a homestead 12 miles northeast of Lusk, where he resided until a few years ago, when because of his advance age he moved into Lusk to live with his son.
Besides the son who lives in Lusk he is survived by two other sons who reside in California. His wife Minnie, passed away in 1900.
Funeral services were held in the Chapel of the Peet Mortuary on Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock with Rev. P. H. Evans officiating.
Music was forunished by Mrs. Ab DeCastro and Mrs. Joe Danaher with Mrs. C. E. Marvin presiding at the instrument.
The pall bearers were Jerry Shrove, Wm. Tate, Chas. Elliott, C. E. Marvin, John Bryant and Lyle Archer.
Burial was made in the Lusk cemetery.
