Mabel M. Vondra
VONDRA SERVICES HELD SATURDAY
Mrs. Mabel Vondra, wife of J. L. "Pete" Vondra, residents of the Jay Em community passed away at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 7th. She had been receiving treatment at the Spencer hospital for about two weeks previous to her death, but she had been in poor health for a number of years.
Mabel Ably (Abley) was born February 1, 1892 at Dwight, Nebr., and grew to young woman hood at that place. In January, 1918, she and Mr. Vondra were united in marriage. A short time later the couple moved to Wyoming and have lived on various ranches in the vicinity of Jay Em since that time.
Surviving are her husband, four daughters and two sons, one child having died in infancy.
Funeral services were conducted at Jay Em last Saturday afternoon, with Rev. R. E. Daughtee, pastor of the Harrison Methodist church in charge. Interment was made in the cemetery at Jay Em.
