MANVILLE -- Graveside services for Lola Cleo (Allsup) Swisher, 97, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012, at the Dellview Cemetery, east of Manville, with Jehovah's Witnesses officiating.

She died Nov. 25, 2011.

Graveside services will be held for Lola Cleo (Allsup) Swisher at the Dellview Cemetary east of Manville, Wyo. at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday Feb. 11, 2012. Jehovah's Witnesses will be officiating. Refreshments will be served afterward at the Manville High School Cafeteria.

Cleo was born in St. Paul, Iowa on Nov. 12, 1914 to proud parents Jim and Merle Allsup, the second of five children. The family moved to Manville, Wyo. soon after.

Cleo graduated from Manville High School and began teaching in elementary schools in communities with names like Keeline and Hat Creek. During this time, she met Dallas Swisher, whom she married on Oct. 18,1932.

Cleo and family lived in various places in Oregon and California. It was in Sacramento that she dedicated her life to serving Jehovah God and was baptized April 22, 1945.

Cleo and Dallas had two children, Nadine Blagg of Lake Dallas, Texas and Roger Swisher of Singapore. Cleo is survived by both children and one brother, Wilbur Allsup of Lusk, Wyo., as well as numerous grandchildren, great and great-great grand children and a host of friends in Wyoming and Texas.

Cleo loved witnessing about Jehovah God. She enjoyed playing Bible games and cards with visitors as she became more confined.

After a long life, Cleo passed away on Nov. 25, 2011 at age 97.

Cleo had faith in the same promise Jesus made to Martha, the sister of Lazarus, recorded at John 11:25, "I am the resurrection and the life, he that exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life."
