Memorial services for Jerry D. Lamb, 49, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, 2011 at Light Ministries in Torrington with Pastor Rick Carroll officiating. Burial of the remains will be at 2 p.m. later that day in the Lusk Wyoming Cemetery. Jerry died Nov. 12, 2011 at Community Hospital and cremation has taken place. Memorials may be made to Torrington Little League, Torrington Girls Softball, and Waggin' Tails Animal Shelter. Jerry was born Aug. 24, 1962 in Lusk, Wyo. the son of Jerry and Judy (Jassman) Lamb. He grew up and received his early education in various places in Wyoming and started the third grade in Torrington, Wyoming where he graduated Torrington High School in 1980. He attended Eastern Wyoming College and graduated there in 1982 before continuing his education at Chadron State College where he graduated in 1985. He returned to Torrington and worked at Torrington Office Products for a year. In 1986 he started working for Decals USA where he became the manager among his other duties. He helped construct and then worked at Skate City until it closed. He started working at the Eastern Wyoming College where he was the evening supervisor at the Student Center for thirteen years.

Jerry loved photography and playing, umpiring, and coaching baseball and softball. He started and was heavily involved in Youth Skate Hockey at Skate City. He also enjoyed camping and backpacking. His favorite pastime was spending time with his daughter Tessa.

Jerry is survived by his parents Jerry and Judy Lamb of Torrington, Wyo.; daughter TesSaundra Ann Lamb of Torrington, Wyo.; a sister Valerie Sharp and her husband Ray of Rock Springs, Wyo.; his paternal grandmother Margaret Lamb of Torrington; and his beloved dog Socks Little Bit. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather; and his maternal grandparents.
