Crawford Resident Dies in Hospital Here, Brain Tumor
Miss Stella Merritta Sprague, 38 years old, a resident of Crawford, Nebraska, died at the Lusk Hospital last Sunday, January 27, from a tumor on the brain, according to the diagnosis.
The body was taken in charge by the Midwest Mortuary and shipped to Crawford, where the funeral was held.
Miss Sprague came to Lusk about three weeks ago to stay with her sister near Whitman. She had been ill since last November, and was brought to the Lusk Hospital only Sunday morning and her condition became so critical that she passed away Sunday night.
