Adolf Johnson
The community was greatly shocked last Saturday to hear of the death of Mr. Adolph Johnson, who died at 9:30 o'clock that day. He had just returned the day previous from a trip to Nebraska, where he had gone about two weeks before for his health. Although he had been in poor health all summer, no one realized that the end was so near. He, in company with his sister, Tillie, came to this place about 11 years ago and bought a ranch about three miles south of town, where they have lived ever since and engaged in ranching and stock raising. He was an honest and industrious man and had the good will of all in this community. The funeral was conducted from the house by Rev. Reade and a large concourse of friends followed the remains to the cemetery. His sister wishes to express her thanks to all friends who, by their sympathy and help, assisted her in her bereavement. - Converse County Herald
