Mildred Clark Dies at Age 78
Mrs. Mildred Haight Clark, 78, died Sunday at Douglas, Wyo., following a lingering illness. Funeral services were this Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at the Peet Chapel, with the Rev. C. W. Jervis officiating. Interment was in the Lusk cemetery.
Mrs. Edna DeCastro and Mrs. Lyle Eddy, accompanied by Mrs. J.P. Watson at the organ sang "Rock of Ages" and "In the Garden."
Honorary pall bearers were Henry Wasserburger, Clarice David, John Wasserburger and Edwin Pfister.
Active pall bearers were John DeGering, Leonard DeGering, Paul McDaniel, Bill McDaniel, Harold Rogers and Robert Scott.
Survivors include one son, Allen of Lusk, two daughters, Mrs. Mary Christian of Vernal, Utah and Mrs. Ruth Leimser of Lusk; four brothers, Jay Haight, Saratoga, Calif., Willett Haight, Allen Haight, both of Anadarco, Calif., Morgan Haight, Los Angeles, Calif.; and two sisters, Mrs. Neva Christner, Mt. View, Okla., and Mrs. Genis Conrad of Crete, Nebr., eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Clark Held Here Wed.
Funeral services were held for Mildred Haight Clark, 78, Wednesday, Sept. 28 at 2:00 p.m. at the Peet Chapel. Burial was in the Lusk Cemetery.
The Rev. C. W. Jervis of Lusk officiated. Mrs. A. F. DeCastro and Mrs. Lyle Eddy, accompanied by Mrs. J. P. Watson at the organ, sang "Rock of Ages" and "In the Garden."

Mildred Haight Clark was born in Crete, Nebr., May 20, 1888 to Moses and Mary Edna Haight. She grew to womanhood at Crete, attending grade school, high school and Doan College there.
She married Floyd Milton Clark, May 25, 1910. The couple then moved to Wyoming and homesteaded on a ranch about 30 miles north of Lusk. They were the parents of three children, Alan Clark, Mrs. Ruth Leimser, both of Lusk and Mrs. Mary Ellen Christian of Vernal, Utah.
In 1919, the Clarks moved to Milwaukee, Wis. and lived in various places during the following years. In 1931 Mr. Clark died at Osage, Wyo. The family moved back to the ranch in 1936.
Mrs. Clark has been in ill health for some time and was in the Wilson Nursing Home in Douglas at the time of her death, September 25.
Besides her three children, she is survived by four brothers, Jay Haight, Saratoga, Calif; Willett Haight and Allan Haight, both of Anadarco, Calif.; Morgan Haight, Los Angeles, Calif; and two sisters, Mrs. Neva Christner, Mt View, Okla., and Mrs. Genie Conrad, Crete, Nebr.; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
