Virginia "Ginny" Larson

Although there is no published obituary for Virginia Larson, some information has been researched:

Virginia Warren R. Larson was born in New York on April 12, 1918, the daughter of Edgar & Winiferd Lambert.

She passed away on November 1, 2010, in Poquoson, Virginia. Burial was in Lusk, Wyoming on November 4, 2010.

She married Warren Larson in 1959, and in 1963, they moved to Pine, Colo., purchased and remodeled an old hay and feed store building into their home and a gift store which became well known as the Pine Emporium. Warren's handiwork was very visible as he was a creative problem solver and talented craftsman. Ginny operated the store and Warren commuted to Denver to work as a boilermaker.

After retirement, continuing to operate the Pine Emporium, Ginny and Warren enjoyed many trips in their RV, spending the winter months in the Southwest, visiting friends and relatives.

Warren and Ginny made many good friends in the Pine/Buffalo Creek communities and were quick to join a game of bridge, a picnic or a drive through the mountains.

In 2006, Warren and Ginny moved to Virginia to be near their son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Kay Hughes.

Virginia is survived by their children, Jim and his wife Kay of Newport News, VA, Judy B. Freed of North Ft. Myers, FL and grandchildren, Brandy Brennan and wife Debi, Shawn Brennan and great grandchildren, Leilani, Lori, and Shawn Martin Brennan and Ayla Brennan.
