Sarah Root Dies in Omaha
As announced in these columns last week Mrs. Thomas Bell had taken little Sarah, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Root, to Omaha to have expert treatment for a nervous disease resembling St. Vitus dance, and early reports after their arrival indicated an improvement in her condition. Last Wednesday, however, a telegram from Mrs. Bell dashed all the hopes of the family to pieces, as it accounced the death of little Sarah from an attack of diphtheria. The news was a great shock to her parents and the many friends of the family. The remains arrived here Friday and interment was made from the depot, many sympathizing friends attending the funeral. The parents, grandparents and other relatives have the condolence and compassion of the whole community in their irreparable loss.
