Aimee C. Savage, born into this life June 8, 1908, entered into eternal life May 20, 2010.
Aimee was born 102 years ago to William A. Jones, and Mary Alice Humphrey Jones in Hatfield, Mo., the youngest of 13 children. After her education, she moved to Scottsbluff, Neb., to work. It was there she met her future husband, Lawrence Savage. They were married 69 years. They lived in Nebraska and Wyoming, while Lawrence managed Safeway stores. They lived in Laramie, Wyo., for 50 years, and Lusk, Wyo. from 1940-1951.
Aimee was an outdoor enthusiast, and enjoyed hiking, fishing, and spending time at the family cabin in the Snow Range. She was a gourmet cook, and loved entertaining. She was involved in Laramie Woman's Club, Alpha Chapter, order of Eastern Star, Beaucent Wives of the Shriners, and the First Baptist Church of Laramie. Both she and Lawrence were active supporters in University of Wyoming athletics. At the age of 97 years, she began water coloring. One of her paintings won placement in the annual Alzheimer's Art Auction.
Aimee was loved by many. She leaves 2 children, Beverly Cates of Ft. Collins, Kale Savage (Sofia) of Los Angeles, Calif.; three grandchildren, Lana Rucker (Bob) of Salt Lake City, Utah, Linda Dudley of Ft. Collins, Gary Cates of Greeley; two great grandchildren, Nicholas Rucker of Salt Lake City, Utah and Adrien Dudley of Denver.

Graveside services were held with Rev. Mary Markin of the 1st Baptist church of Laramie, interment being in the Masonic section of Greenhill Cemetery in Laramie, Wyoming.
