Ward Niver

This community was shocked last Thursday evening when it was learned that Ward Niver had passed peacefully away, hemorraghe of the bowels being the cause of his death. Deceased had not been well for several days, but was confined to his bed only a couple of days. He had been a resident of Lusk for the past 12 years, making his home with his father, Mr. Allen Niver. Ward was a familiar figure in this community and will be greatly missed at home and by those who knew him best. Funeral services took place Sunday afternoon at the Congregational church, Rev. C. H. Nellor officiating, after which his remains were laid to rest beside his mother in the cemetery north of Lusk. Ward is a thousand times better off asleep in his bed that knows no sorrow. Peace to his ashes.
