Funeral Services Held for Mrs. John Nance Here Wed.
Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Nance of Alliance were held from the Peet Chapel Wednesday afternoon with the Rev. Jacob Nein, pastor of the Congregational Church, officiating.
Mrs. Nance is a former resident of Lusk having lived here with her husband, John Nance, who died in March, 1947 and was buried in the Lusk Cemetery. After his death Mrs. Nance moved to Wheatland with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. John Kosine and later to Alliance.
Mr. and Mrs. Nance lived at Shawnee before coming to Lusk. One son, Lloyd William, died at Douglas in 1942.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Kosine, and Mrs. Ina May Harris of Ogalala, S. D., and one son, Robert Nance of Shawnee.
The remains will be laid to rest beside those of her husband.
