Curtis (Curt) Norman Younie
Curtis (Curt) Norman Younie, 79, passed away at the Niobrara Health and Life Center on March 31, 2009 after a long illness. Curt was surrounded by his family at the time of his passing.
Curt was born Feb. 14, 1930 in Hawarden, Iowa to Raymond and Idella Younie.
Curt is survived by his wife of 50 years-Bev, brothers Jack and wife Phyllis of Reno, Nev., Leslie and wife Jo Ann of Paradise, Calif., daughter Viki Christiansen and daughter-in-law Paula Christiansen of Lusk, granddaughters Brandi and Travis Widrick of Lusk, Cassie and Jeremy Boldt of Iowa, Melissa Dischner of Lusk, and grandson Matt Dischner of Rawlins. Curt is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The pride and joy of his life were his great grandchildren-Ali and Declan (Bubba) Jensen, Archer (Tarzan) Widrick, and Chance Parrish all of Lusk.
Curt was preceded in death by his parents, two younger brothers, two daughters and one son.
Curt did not want a service but his wish was for friends and family to send donations to the Niobrara Health and Life Center Foundation.
