Clyde W. Felt
Former Lance Creek resident Clyde W. Felt died Monday, July 15, 1985, in a Scottsbluff, Neb., hospital. A Torrington resident, he was 78.
Mr. Felt was born July 23, 1906, in Orleans, Neb., the son of Grant and Edna Sides Felt. He was raised in Nebraska and Kansas.
He married Anne Rapp June 4, 1940, in Lovell. He was a gas plant manager for Marathon Oil. The Felts lived in Lovell and Lance Creek. He retired in 1971 and they moved to Torrington in 1973.
He was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Torrington.
He is survived by his wife, Anne of Torrington; two sons, Jim of Morrisville, Pa., and Lawrence of York, Neb.; a daughter, Carolyn Nelson of Torrington; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters, eight brothers and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Bethel Baptist Church in Torrington. Pastor Eugene West will conduct the services. Pastor John Simmons will assist. Burial will be in Valley View Cemetery.
Memorials may be directed to the Bethel Baptist Church building fund.
