Mrs. James C. David - Obituary
Fanny Adelpha Edinger was born March 15, 1856, in Grant County, Wisconsin. She was married to James C. David at that place in 1872. They came to Nebraska in the early 80's and settled in Custer County, where they resided for about fifteen years, when they moved to Belmont, Neb. In 1897 they went to Crawford, and in 1906 they homesteaded in Sioux County, near Andrews, at which place her husband passed away in 1913.
In 1918 she moved with her youngest son, Claris, to a homestead near Hat Creek, Wyoming, where in the evening of April 10, 1928, she retired for the night's rest and failed to respond the following morning, having peacefully slipped from this life to the next, seemingly without a struggle. The deceased was aged 72 years and 26 days. She had been suffering with heart trouble for the past year.
Burial was made at Harrison, Nebraska, April 13, 1928, beside her husband and one daughter.
She was the happy and very faithful mother of six children, two daughters, who preceded her in death, and four sons.
The funeral was conducted by the Midwest Undertaking Parlors of Lusk.
