Mrs. Tracy McGinnis Passes Away at California Home, Funeral to Take Place Saturday Morning, 10 o'clock
Mrs. Tracy McGinnis, 54 years of age, a former old-time resident of Lusk, passed away at her residence at Long Beach, California, on Tuesday morning, December 20, of cancer, from which she had been a sufferer for some time.
Her mother, Mrs. Barbara Petz, and her brother, Henry Petz, and her son, Tommy McGinnis, left for her bedside last week when it became apparent that she could not long survive. They arrived at Long Beach before her death.
Deceased is survived by her mother, Mrs. Barbara Petz, her brother, Henry Petz, and Henry and Tommy McGinnis, her sons.
Mrs. McGinnis has resided in California for the past twelve years, where she and her mother went for Mrs. McGinnis' health.
Funeral services will be held at St. Leo''s Catholic Church in Lusk, Saturday morning, at 10:30, according to present arrangements, made by the Midwest Mortuary. It is understood the body will arrive over the Burlington and the Midwest funeral car will meet the train at Orin.
Interment will be made in the Lusk Cemetery.

Last Rites Held Here For Mrs. Tracy McGinnis
Funeral services for Mrs. Tracy McGinnis were held in St. Leo's Catholic Church on last Saturday morning at 10:30 a.m. with requiem High Mass by Father Bruno.
Mrs. McGinnis passed away at her home in Long Beach, Calif., Dec. 20, and the remains were brought back to Lusk, her girlhood home for burial.
She moved to California about 12 years ago having resided in Omaha for a time after leaving Lusk.
The pallbearers were old time school mates and friends; they were: Fred Root, Ral Collins, Dan Goddard, Mr., Marcus Nelson, Alfred Johnson and Lawrence Johnson.
She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Barbara Petz, her brother, Henry Petz and two sons, Henry and Tommy McGinnis, all of Lusk.
Funeral arrangements were in charge of the Midwest Mortuary and interment was made in the Lusk cemetery.
