Mrs. Jess Freeman Of Keeline Dies Here Sun. Morning

Mrs. Jesse Freeman, who for many years has been a resident of the Keeline community, died at the Spencer Hospital in Lusk Sunday morning. She had been suffering from a severe heart condition for the past several years.

Funeral serv1ces were being held this Wednesday afternoon at the Peet Mortuary with the Rev. O. F. Shroyer of the Church of God officiating and burial in the Lusk Cemetery.

Hazel Althea Freeman was born Mar. 12, 1890 in Paris, Ill., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marion Mason. While a young girl she joined the Methodist Church at Louisville, Ill.

On Dec. 30, 1906 she married Jesse T. Freeman and later tranferred her church membership to the Christian Church of Bethel, Ill. In a few years after their marriage, Mr. and Mrs. Freeman moved to the Keeline community where they have since made their home.

Surviving are her husband and nine children: Curtis of Robinson, Ill.; Helen Perlenfine of Lance Creek; Ralph of Pittsburgh, Pa..; Vaughn of Lusk; Arthur of Lance Creek; Warren and Lee of Keeline; Lucile Emery of Douglas; and Vira of Casper. Also surviving are her father, Marion Mason of Neoga, Ill.; three sisters, Bernice Rogers of Mundelein, Ill.; Clelland Johnson and Christine Richardson of Dallas, Tex.; and one brother, Starr Mason, of Medina, N. Y. She has 10 grandchildren. Her mother and one sister, Clotile, previously died.
