Bill Crane service held
A service for former Lusk resident Newton M. (Bill) Crane was held Monday afternoon at the Berkeley Park Chapel in Denver.
Crane died June 13 in a Denver hospital.
He lived and worked all of his life in Nebraska, Wyoming and Colorado doing farm, ranch and construction work. Most recently he was a Denver resident.
Crane is survived by his wife, Mabel, also of Denver, children Billie Joy Baker of Imperial, Calif., Larry Ratliff of Lander, Danny Ratliff, Geraldine Dewey and Sandra Redja, all of Riverton, Albert Chavez, Ronnie Crane, Karen Mathison, Gail Madrid and Billie Jean Cacciatore, all of Denver, Debbie Portillo of Grants, N.M.; 19 grandchildren, and a great-granddaughter.
Crane was preceded in death by his mother and father and a sister, Elaine Bright.
