Jack Stenner Dies At North Platte
Word of the death of Jack Stenner came as a shock to Lusk friends. Jack is the son of Dr. and Mrs. A. J. Stenner, formerly of Lusk, and now residing at 3227 McKinney Avenue, Dallas, Texas.
He entered the service in January of 1941 and received his discharge November 8, 1945, at Kearney, Neb.
With his wife, Mary, and son, Jackie, they went to North Platte, Neb., to spend Thanksgiving at the home of an aunt. While there he became seriously ill and underwent an operation for appendicitis on Sunday, Nov. 25, dying the following Saturday, Dec. 1st.
Funeral services were held at North Platte and interment made in the cemetery there.
The Stenner family resided in Lusk for many years and Jack attended the Lusk schools. Besides his wife and small son, he is survived by his parents and a brother, John.
