She taught many successful terms of school in the districts in Sioux County, Nebraska.
On June 6, 1917, she was united in marriage with John Hoffman at Crawford, Neb. With the exception of a few months during 1917 and 1918, which were spent at her husband's homestead and at her parents' home, they have made their home at their present place of abode near Hat Creek, Wyo.

Edna was a devoted wife, mother, daughter and sister; through she suffered much, she was never too ill to be interested in those around her and those who knew her will remember her as a true, generous and hospitable friend.
