Baby of Mr. and Mrs. Verne Tipton First Victim of Flu Wave
The first flu victim of the vicinity was the six-months-old baby of Mr. and Mrs. Verne Tipton, from near Harrison, who passed away at the Lusk Hospital early last Thursday morning, January 21st.
The little one had been brought to the hospital the day before, being very ill.
The baby's name was Peggy Ann Tipton, and she was born July 18, 1936. Besides her parents, three small sisters are left to mourn the little one's passing.
The remains were taken to Harrison for burial.
