Clarence Boston Dies Sunday
Clarence Boston of Midwest and former resident of Lance Creek died Sunday at the Natrona County Memorial Hospital in Casper, following a short illness.
Clarence A. Boston was born October 17, 1899, to Mr. and Mrs. David A. Boston at Lucas, Iowa, and came to Wyoming in 1919. In 1925 he and Miss Lola Simmons were married at Sheridan. Following their marriage the couple moved to the Salt Creek Oil field, later going to Iowa. Later the family moved to Lance Creek where he was employed by the Mumble (Carter) Oil Company. They were the parents of five children.
Mr. and Mrs. Boston left Lance Creek in 1960 and went to Cutbank, Mont., and later moving to Midwest where he retired in 1965, after 21 years.
Funeral services will be held this Thursday at the Bustard Funeral Home in Casper at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be at Memorial Gardens in Casper.
Mr. Boston is survived by his wife, Lola, of the family home in Midwest; three sons; David of Hennesey, Okla., James, Casper, Doran of Laramie; two daughters, Anna Mae Boston of Santa Monica, Calif., and Martha Thomas of Beaver, Okla., eight grandchildren; one brother, Thomas Boston of Nampa, Idaho; three sisters, Lela Wright, Des Moines, Iowa, Hally Anderson and Mable Bales, both of Norwood, Iowa. Other relatives here for the services are Hubert Brenner of WaKeeney, Kansas, and Deena Dutton of Erie, Kansas.
