Mrs. Pierce Dies Wednesday As Result of Flu

As The Herald goes to press at 5:00 o'clock Wednesday evening, word was received of the death of Mrs. P. A. Pierce, who passed away at the Lusk Hospital, following a short illness.

Mrs. Pierce had been suffering for the past two weeks from an attack of the flu and appendicitis, and had recovered sufficiently the first of the week so she was able to sit up. On Tuesday she suffered a relapse and was taken to the hospital where she passed on Wednesday afternoon.

As yet no arrangements for the funeral have been made, but burial will probably be made Friday.
