Ida Marie Johnston
RESIDENT OF LUSK CALLED BY DEATH AFTER LONG ILLNESS
Mrs. A. E. Johnston Dies Of Influenza; Had Many Friends In Lusk
The call of death was answered in our community again last week by Mrs. A. E. Johnston. She had not been well for almost a year, having suffered an attack of influenza at that time and again this year.
Ida Marie Neerman was born in Atchison County, Kansas, December 11, 1864 and died in Lusk, Wyoming, April 7, 1922.
On November 29, 1891 she was married to A. E. Johnston, who, with four children, mourns her loss. The children are Mrs. Mary Gugelman of Orafino, Nebr., Frank R. of Deuel, Wyoming; George W. of Woodlake, Nebr., and Nellie, who has been with her for the past year.
She is also survived by her mother, five sisters and one brother.
She had been a member of the M. E. church since her girlhood.
The funeral services were held on Sunday at the Baptist church, Rev. H. Dockum officiating.
Due to the fact that some of the relatives that were on the way did not reach here Sunday, burial was delayed until Tuesday.
Mr. and Mrs. Johnston have lived in Lusk only a few years, but have made many friends, with whom The Herald joins in extending sympathy.
