Mrs. Anna Rosson Dies in California
Word of the death of Mrs. Anna Lou Rosson at Richmond, Calif., was received here Saturday evening by Mrs. Ona Higgins in a telephone call from Richmond.
Mrs. Rosson had been in ill health for some time but her death was understood to have resulted from a paralytic stroke from which she died Saturday afternoon, Feb. 2.
Mr. and Mrs. Rosson came to Lusk more than 30 years ago and resided here until the last few years when they spent the winters in California at the home of their daughter, Mrs. Charlotte Tacket, but returned to Lusk for some of the summer months.
Survivors include her husband, Ernest Rosson and daughter, Charlotte Tackett and three grandchildren.
Two sons preceded her in death, the older, Ernest "Bud" was killed in a car accident north of Lusk about 25 years ago and the other Foster met his death in a Jeep accident in the Phillipines during World War II while serving in the army.
It is understood that funeral services were held for Mrs. Rosson at Richmond on Monday, Feb. 4.
